The Akepa comes in 5 different trendy colors and has a cool design on it too. The walls are 4mm thick which will protect your laptop without adding to much weight. The inside has a soft lining which is made from 100% recycled plastic. The outside is made from NeoGreene, a material developed by GreenSmart, which is more eco-friendly than neoprene. To top it off, neogreene is waterproof, so you dont have to worry about liquid damage when you spill your chai tea on it.

    I really like the design and feel of the laptop case. This is a soft case, so it won't protect it that much if you drop your laptop from up high, but it is great for protecting your laptop from scratches. I always use it when i am carrying my laptop in my backpack. The price is a bit high, but for something that is made from recycled plastic bottles you would expect that. This is definitely the coolest eco friendly laptop case that I have seen though. (Posted on 8/5/10)
